3. SCENE STUDY WORKSHOPS WITH LEWIS BAUMANDER - TORONTO

This unique set of workshops has an action based focus in the vein of
David Mamet. Simple and straight forward: no misleading buzzwords or
clever theories. You will come to depend more on your own innate
abilities as an actor and become less dependant on "methods" or
"theories" for acting. Lewis' classes begin on a weekly basis Monday
Sept. 25th through Thursday Sept. 28th  at Castinglink (at 10 St. Mary
2nd floor) and run for 6 weeks from 7pm to 11pm and are free to audit. 
Classes are limited to 10 students. 
Classes are $300 and $240 for CAEA.

4. STAGE COMBAT SAFETY WORKSHOP - TORONTO

Stage Combat Safety/Survivor Workshop

This course is designed for those people who wish to know more about
stage combat but may not necessarily perform it. This workshop ideal for
stage managers, fight captains, weapons handlers, and those interested
in working in these capacities. It's also an excellent entry course for
actors just starting out, high school teachers, and directors who wish
to build up their stage combat vocabulary. Join us to play safe, look
great and have fun!

Musical Theatre/Audition Workshop with Deborah Staiman using textual
analysis and other interpretive tools for the "sung monologue". Each
participant's song is analyzed and principles applied. Ms. Staiman was
on the voice faculty of AMDA in New York City.
