CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - VANCOUVER

CAROUSEL THEATRE SEEKING SUBMISSIONS FOR 2007 MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Each season Carousel Theatre selects one emerging theatre company or
collective in our community to support, providing the artists involved
with free rehearsal space for their project, access to stock costumes,
props and technical equipment, and artistic advice and support. The 2007
Mentorship can be used towards a production, or a workshop. Preference
is given to theatre groups formed within the last three years, whose
focus is either theatre for young audiences or classical repertoire.  

Interested applicants are asked to submit the following:

-A cover letter explaining how proposed project would be appropriate for
Carousel Theatre to support.
- A profile of company/collective (no more then one page in length)
- An outline of the proposed project (no more then one page in length)
- Support materials, or information on prior productions including media
clippings, photos, etc to maximum of 5 pages.

Deadline for submissions is 5:00 PM, Monday, January 15, 2007.

Carousel Theatre will choose the Mentorship Company/Collective by the
