2006 Dream in High Park - The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare
Directed by:  Kelly Thornton

Auditions will be held the weeks of February 20 and February 27
Rehearsals begin June 5 opens July 2 closes September 3
* Only performers who are available for the contract need apply.

1	Antipholus of Syracuse - Male, 30-40 - An attractive charmer.
Physical comedy an asset.
2	Dromio of Syracuse - Male, 30-40 - A servant, strong physical
comedy.  Great with wordplay.
3	Antipholus of Ephesus - Male 30-40 - The more macho of the two
brothers.  A philandering gambler.
4	Dromio of Ephesus -  Male, 30-40 - A servant, strong physical
comedy.  Great with wordplay.
5	Solinus, Duke of Ephesus- Male, 35-50 - Authoritative, a strong
physical presence 
6	Egeon - Male, 50+ - Sympathetic, a good storyteller
7	Adriana - Female, 30-40 - Commanding, intelligent and
attractive.  A forceful personality.
8	Luciana - Female, 25-30 - Witty, pretty and bright.  A bud still
waiting to flower.
9	Angelo - Male, 35+ - Flamboyant, a jeweller by trade.  
10	Balthasar/ Dr. Pinch - Male, 35-50 -Requires a good character
actor, eccentric characters.
11	Emilia - Female, 50+ - Gracious and dignified. An abbess.
12	Courtesan - Female 25-35 - Bold and audacious with a capable
wit.  
13	Gaoler/Officer/Headsman - Male, 25+ - Physical comedy an
asset/Few lines but a strong character part.  
14	1st/2nd Merchant - Male, 30+ - An intimidating character.  
15	Luce - Female, 25-35 - Large, domineering kitchen maid.  Few
lines, strong physical comedy.

Please note some roles will be doubled.

2W3.  We invite resumes from artists of diverse cultures and
ethnicities.  We are accepting resumes from both Equity and Non-Equity
performers.  Clearly note on resume Equity and ACTRA status.  Submit a
hard copy resume/photo only - no phone calls or emails - thanks.  Some
experience with Shakespeare required. Only those selected for an
audition will be contacted. 

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
