Male Actor - "Bobby" age 22 to 28
Tenor vocal range

The Toronto Youth Theatre is holding auditions for male actors to fill
the role of 'Bobby' in a production of Urinetown.  

The TYT is a registered charity dedicated to giving young people the
opportunity to professional theatre environment. The TYT regularly
engages one professional actor to serve as a mentor to the talented
young cast. 

Applicants must be willing to perform with and serve as a mentor to the
cast. Experience working with youth is an asset. 

Rehearsal Dates: February 25th - May 4th, 2006

Performance Dates: May 4th - May 13th, 2006

Audition Requirements: Auditioners must demonstrate a tenor or
high-baritone vocal range. Please prepare one short musical-theatre
songs. Readings will be provided.

Auditions will be by appointment only.  Due to volume only those
contacted will be seen for auditions.
 
The Toronto Youth Theatre intends to apply for permission to engage
Equity members in the production of "Urinetown" under the terms of the
Guest Artist Policy.
