AUDITIONS - CALGARY
------------------------------
Theatre Calgary's Artistic Director Dennis Garnhum and Artistic 
Associate Eric Rose will be holding general auditions for artists who 
are not known to Mr. Garnhum. Artists who have worked at Theatre 
Calgary in the 2005-06 season, or are already known to Mr. 
Garnhum need not submit.

General Auditions 2006 will be held on the following dates in 
Calgary:
Monday, March 6th, Tuesday, March 7th 
Monday, March 13th, Tuesday, March 14th

For the General Auditions, please prepare:

Two contrasting monologues (NO LONGER than 5 minutes in combined
length). 
OR
One monologue and an alternative option of the artist's choice 
(sing, dance, special skill, combination etc).   Both monologue and 
the alternative option should be NO LONGER than 5 minutes in 
combined length.

Deadline for submissions:

Monday, Feb 27th, 5:00pm. Only those artists who are invited to 
audition will be contacted to set-up an audition time. Please do not 
call or email our office.

No agency packages please. All artists must submit their own 
materials.

Theatre Calgary will be announcing their 2006-2007 Season on 
March 16th.  The 2006-2007 Season will be available on our 
website  (www.theatrecalgary.com) on March 17th.

Theatre Calgary is a member of the Professional Association of 
Canadian Theatres, and operates within the jurisdiction of the 
Canadian Theatre Agreement. Artists who are members of the 
Canadian Actors Equity Association will be given audition priority. 
Equity members cast in any production will be engaged under an 
Equity form of contract. 
Non-Equity artists will be seen when and if spaces are available.
