AUDITION - VANCOUVER
--------------------
WILD EXCURSIONS PERFORMANCE
NOTICE OF AUDITION
Wild Excursions Performance is holding auditions for Beggars Would Ride,
a twisted musical satire in the tradition of Brecht/Weill about power,
class, greed and lust, and about a rebellion that goes wrong. The
production will take place the week of January 22, 2007. Rehearsals will
commence on New Year's weekend.

We are looking for three CHARACTER actors. They should have good
language skills in order to make a complicated text intelligible; be
able to sing well; be comfortable with movement and heightened gesture,
and with the strange and disturbing world of the play.

Characters:

Rufus: mid to late 30's, early 40's, angry, idealistic, impassioned,
wounded- a leader.

Zinna: his sister, mid 20's to mid 30's, "still waters run deep," a
survivor, driven by powerful, unarticulated needs.

Frank: mid to late 20's, handsome, a bit foolish, blows with the wind- a
follower.

Please send your CV and headshot to:

possibly, the next day.

LOCATION: TBA

TIME: Between 10 am and 5 pm. Please call 604.681.5592 to make an
