REMINDER - EQUITY 'OPEN HOUSE' - ST. JOHNS, NEWFOUNDLAND

In conjunction with the Magnetic North Festival, Equity will host an 'Open House' informational meeting on Sunday, July 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at the Star of the Sea Hall. The address is 50 Henry Street, east of the Majestic dinner theatre & up the hill, between Queens Road and Duckworth Street.

The meeting is open to Equity members and artists residing in Newfoundland who are interested in finding out more about the Association. Equity apprentices, probationary members and artists considering joining Equity are also encouraged to attend.

This meeting will be an excellent opportunity to discuss the benefits of Equity membership and the process of joining the Association. 

Susan Wallace, Executive Director, and available members of the Atlantic region Councillor(s) Policy Advisory Group will be in attendance to answer questions on the rights and responsibilities of membership and discuss issues of interest specific to the Newfoundland membership. Lynn McQueen, Communications Director, will also be on hand to report on upcoming initiatives.

Equity members and members-to-be are encouraged to take a break from the Festival whirlwind and join us in what promises to be an informative evening.

Refreshments and snacks will be served. Cash bar also available.
