General Audition Notice
2006-2007 Season

In preparation for the 2006-2007 season, Susan Ferley, Artistic Director
for The Grand Theatre, will be holding general auditions in London,
Ontario for the following productions:

THE GRADUATE Adapted by Terry Johnson, based on the novel by Charles
Webb and the motion picture screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck
Henry Contract dates: September 19 - October 28

DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST - Music by Alan Menken, Lyrics by Howard
Ashman and Tim Rice, Book by Linda Woolverton Contract dates: October 24
- December 30

MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS by Ron Hutchinson
Contract dates: December 19 - January 27

THE SPITFIRE GRILL Music and Book by James Valcq, Lyrics and Book by
Fred Alley Based on the Film by Lee David Zlotoff Contract dates:
February 20 - April 1

Auditions will take place on April 9, 10, and 11, 2006 At The Grand
Theatre  

-	Actors should prepare 2 contrasting pieces - each piece
approximately 1 minute
-	Please note that only those artists who are invited to audition
will be contacted to set up an audition time.
-	If Susan knows your work, please send a note, or e-mail
cynthia at grandtheatre.com if there is a role or a show that interests
you.
-	There will be an opportunity this season for a young actor (age
8-10 years) in Beauty and the Beast. Interested younger actors are
welcome to submit their resume and photo for consideration. Experience
in singing and dancing or gymnastics is an asset. Auditions for this
role will be scheduled at a later date.  (TBA)
-	In our desire to encourage and reflect the world and our
community on our stage, The Grand Theatre encourages racially diverse
actors to submit resumes.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
