Auditions will be held April 20 - 25, 2006
Rehearsals begin in Calgary August 14, 2006, 
Opens in Calgary September 15, 2006 
Closes Calgary October 8th, 2006  
Opens Toronto October 20, 2006 
Closes Toronto November 11, 2006

Play takes place in Northern California in the 1930's.  

1.  George - Male, 30-35 -A drifter.  Strong, good hearted man and a
straight shooter.  His good heart is hidden within a rough exterior.

2.  Slim - Male, 30-35 - Tall, Slim.  Works on the ranch.  Cool and
commanding.  

3.  Curley - Male, 25-30 - Short.  Physically fit.  A real brute who
thinks he is stronger than he is.  Likes to think he runs the ranch.

4.  Curley's Wife - Female, 20-25 - A pretty and promiscuous young woman
who is somewhat naive.  

5.  Wit - Male, 16-20 - A hardworking and sweet young man.

6.  Boss - Male, 50-60 - Curley's father. Runs the ranch.   A strong man
who can be both firm and understanding.  

7.  Crooks - Male, 25-35 - An African man who works hard and knows his
place.
