1. IVANA CHUBBUCK TECHNIQUE - TORONTO

The Ivana Chubbuck Technique (celebrity coach and bestselling author of
"The Power of the Actor") is returning to Toronto. Benson Simmonds is a
Vancouver director, actor and coach and authorized by Ivana to teach her
career-changing technique. 

The workshop is MONDAY JUNE 5 and WEDNESDAY JUNE 7, 4-10pm on both days.


The cost of the workshop is $275. The cost to Equity members is only

HUMBER THEATRE PRESENTS FIGHTING FOR FILM
July 3 - 7, 2006

Fighting for Film will teach the requirements for action sequences on
film including use of wire rigs and high falls. The instructors are
amongst Canada's leading professionals in the field: John Stead, James
Binkley, Steve Wilsher and Kara Wooten. Week intensive at Lakeshore
Campus, Humber College, Toronto.

Application deadline: June 5, 2006

# 1736 Intermediate/Advanced Voice with David Smukler
Tues & Thurs 7:30 - 10 pm, Jun 20 - 29  (4 classes), CAEA $160
Non-CAEA$200
Deadline for application: Jun 8
Intended for actors who have a background in voice training with Mr.
Smukler and/or the Warren/Linklater tradition, these sessions will
expand upon the earlier training and will involve substantial text work.
Development of thought, emotion and voice as an integrated physical
experience to aid the contemporary actor in all aspects of rehearsal and
performance is the goal of the work.
