5. MASK WORKSHOP - MONTREAL

Equity's Professional Development Fund has confirmed support for an
Equity member workshop bringing University of Calgary Professor and mask
instructor Brian Smith to Montreal. The mask workshop will be held at
the Bain St-Michel (5300 St. Dominique, corner Maguire) from November
12th to 19th. Regular cost is $225. Each Equity member in good standing
will be subsidized in the amount of $150, reducing her/his cost to a
total of $75. To register, please send a cheque for $75, payable to
Carolyn Guillet, to 4318 St. Urbain, Montreal QC H2W 1V5. Equity actors
will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis, according to the
receipt of cheques. No more than 15 actors will be accepted into the
course. Since there has already been a great deal of interest expressed
within the community for this workshop, it is recommended that actors
email Carolyn their intention to register right away, and send their
cheque as soon as possible if they wish to ensure a place in the
workshop. (Mail by regular post may not be reliable after Tuesday
November 7th.) For more information contact Carolyn Guillet at
