Theatre PANIK is looking for actors to workshop their latest project
"The Finger", an adaptation of a traditional Yiddish folktale.  We are
looking for actors of all physical types with experience in movement
theatre - corporal mime or other physical work such as LeCoq,
Gardzienice, Grotowski, Barba, Suzuki - would be an asset.  "The Finger"
is adapted by Niki Landau, with Paul Lampert directing; music by David
Buchbinder; movement consultant Evelyn Hart.
The workshop will take place approx. Feb. 5 - 19, 2007 in Toronto,
culminating in a single showing for an invited audience.  Equity and
Non-Equity actors are welcome to apply.
Auditions (by appointment only in mid-December) will consist of a 2
minute physical/movement piece developed by the actor, accompanied by
music/sound of their choice.  Please send your picture and resume to:

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
