The Actors' Fund of Canada and Directors Guild of Canada-Ontario Present
The Eleventh Annual Big Swing Golf Tournament in support of the Actors' Fund

Sunday September 23, 2007
Wooden Sticks Golf Club
Uxbridge, Ontario
Tee-Off: 12:30 PM

The golf tournament that has become known as The Big Swing was just a
friendly game among a few actors and their friends when volunteer
tournament organizers Phil Flagler and Judah Katz decided to dedicate it
to raising money for the Actors' Fund. From its simple beginnings, the
tournament has grown to be an annual event that brings out 144 players
each year to some of the Toronto area's finest courses.

This year's course, Wooden Sticks, offers a unique experience for golfers.
Twelve of the eighteen holes at Wooden Sticks were each inspired by a
different famous golf hole from the PGA tour. Together, with the balance
of the course, they present a challenging and unforgettable golf experience.

The approximately $50,000 raised annually by the tournament helps to pay
for the Fund's emergency financial aid program for entertainment industry
workers and their families, demand for which has doubled over the past six
years as Canada's entertainment industry has weathered some tough times.

The Actors' Fund of Canada is a registered charity that provides
short-term financial aid to entertainment industry professionals working
in theatre, film & TV, music and dance. Performers, creators, technical
staff and other production team members can apply for help from the Fund
which delivered over $400,000 in rent payments, grocery money, utility
payments and other basic living expenses to clients in the last 12 months
and over $3 million in the last 10 years. To date, The Big Swing golf tournament has raised over $300,000 to help entertainment industry workers in distress.

Tickets: $165 per person.

Includes: 18 holes of Golf, Power Cart, Banquet Dinner, Magnificent Prize Table

Tournament will be played rain or shine. Player fees are strictly non-refundable. Please register before September 7. We cannot guarantee entry to players registering after this date.
