CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - TORONTO

KICK Theatre is inviting submissions for its inaugural production, "Miss
Julie" by August Strindberg.  A new Canadian adaptation set in
early-20th century British Columbia by Dora Award winning playwright
Tara Beagan ("Thy Neighbour's Wife", "Dreary and Izzy") is in
development.  Actors submitting should be committed to the process of
bringing new work to life.
   
  Characters:
  JEAN - Male, First Nations. 25 - 35.  Strong, Charismatic and
Intelligent.
  CHRISTINE - Female, First Nations. 25 - 35.  Earthy, Sensual and
Direct.
  (Please note that the role of Julie has been cast.)
    
  Deadline for submissions is Wednesday July 4th.
   
  Auditions Wednesday July 11th.
   
Please prepare sides from the play (supplied in advance) and a
two-minute monologue of your choice.
