Please note Nigel Bennett, Artistic Director of the Atlantic Theatre
Festival has changed the 2007 audition date to March 12th, 2007.

Auditions - Halifax March 12, 2007

ATLANTIC THEATRE FESTIVAL HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR THE 2007 SEASON

Nigel Bennett, the newly appointed Artistic Director for the New
Atlantic Theatre Festival will be holding auditions for their 2007 Main
Stage production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.  Rehearsals for A
Midsummer Nights Dream will be July 31 - August 26 and will run August
28 - September 30.  Auditions will take place February 26, 2007 and will
be held at Neptune Theatre 1593 Argyle Street Halifax, NS B3J 2B2


Please prepare two monologues, one classical one contemporary, no longer
than two minutes each. Actors may be asked to read from sides.

Artists with Nova Scotia connections are encouraged to apply. Actors who
have previously submitted for the 2006 season are respectfully requested
to resubmit. 
Equity members will be seen first. Equity members cast in this
production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA
members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
