Auditions will be held March 25th, 2007
Rehearsals begin October 15th, 2007 opens November 15th, 2007 closes
December 15th, 2007

Audrey - Female, Mid-Twenties - Bleached-blonde bombshell. She remains
an naive optimist within her dreary life on skid row. Great voice, great
comedy chops. Very New York sound.

Crystal, Ronnette and Chiffon - Female, 20-40, Three street urchins who
function as participants in the action and a Greek chorus outside it.
Must be able to move, and sing like nobody's business

Mushnik - Male, 45-60 - Their boss. A failure of a Lower East Side
florist. Textbook Jewish New York accent

Send submissions no later than Monday, March 19th at noon to Katherine
Grainger, CanStage, 26 Berkeley Street, Toronto, Ontario, M5A 2W3. We
invite resumes from artists of diverse cultures and ethnicities. Submit
a hard copy resume/photo only - no phone calls or emails - thanks. Only
those selected for an audition will be contacted. 
 
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
