Responsibilities of this position will include:
*       Initial research, to ensure that the set captures the period and
style of the production
*       Liaising with the director and other members of the creative
team regarding creative concepts, establishing the look and feel of the
production and all the set design elements
*       Producing sketches and scale models to create a 'storyboard' of
the proposed set
*       Supervising the implementation of the design, including building
and buying for the production.

Skill Requirements:
*       Must have strong set design skills.
*       Must have strong carpentry/building skills
*       Have at least one professional design credit
*       Should be a graduate of a theatre school programme or have
equivalent experience.  The successful candidate will be creative,
curious and passionate about theatre and have the ability to work in a
team environment
*       Previous supervisory experience in a small team setting
*       A valid Ontario Driver's License and a vehicle a must
*       An interest in cultures, lifestyles and historical periods
*       Must enjoy working outdoors.
