Apprentice Stage Manager/Production Assistant Required

Burning Passions Theatre in Toronto is now hiring an Apprentice Stage
Manager/Production Assistant for their upcoming production of "Bella
Donna" by David Copelin. The production starts rehearsal on April 21st
at the Tarragon Studios, and runs from May 16 to June 7 at The Berkeley
Street Theatre Upstairs.

We require a production assistant to assist with all aspects of
production during rehearsals (e.g., sourcing and purchase of design and
prop materials, etc.), and to assist the show backstage during the run,
as well as move-in and strike and other tasks required for running the
show (e.g., set-up before each show, prop purchase, repair and
maintenance, laundry, etc.).

The job requirements are as follows:
- must have car (we will pay mileage and parking)
- have experience as an assistant stage manager and/or apprentice stage
manager
- be able to work collaboratively and effectively under sometimes
stressful and time-sensitive conditions

We are applying to work under the Independent Artists Project Policy,
where a portion of the weekly fee will be deferred pending box office

completion of this production for a retroactive apprentice credit.
