CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - TORONTO

The Canadian Opera Company is looking for 7 men and 7 women
dancer/actors of all ages for their upcoming production of War and
Peace.  The individuals cast in this production must be members of CAEA
and will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.

They should be accomplished dancers however do not have to look too
'dancerly'.  Good partnering skills are essential as well as the ability
to learn material quickly.  The individuals should have a basic
knowledge of ballroom dance principles.  They can expect to learn some
early 19th century ballroom sequences:  possibly waltz, mazurka &
polonaise.

Contract Dates:  August 29th, 2008 - November 1, 2008
Rehearsal Start Date:  August 29th, 2008	
Performance Dates:  (8 performances)
Oct 10, 14, 16, 19 (2:00pm), 22, 25 (4:30pm), 29, Nov 1, 2008

Audition Date:  Wednesday, June 25, 2008
