AUDITIONS - CHEMAINUS

Jeremy Tow, Artistic Director of the Chemainus Theatre Festival, will be
holding General Equity and Non-Equity auditions on Saturday June 28 at
The Chemainus Theatre Festival Rehearsal Hall.  

Please prepare 2 contrasting pieces, approx 2 min. each: one classical
and one contemporary, or one piece of your choice and a song.  An
accompanist will be provided.  Please, no self-written pieces or pieces
from plays that have not been professionally  produced.  If you are an
established performer, but do not wish to audition, please submit your
resume to indicate your interest in future projects.  

Please forward your headshot and resume to the Chemainus Theatre
Festival care of Victoria Caldwell, before May 30th.  Mail to 9574 Bare
Point Rd, Chemainus, B.C. V0R 1K5.  NO PHONE CALLS, E-MAILS OR FAXES
PLEASE.  (Audition time priority will be given to Equity members and
Equity registered apprentices).  Please note that there are a limited
number of spaces, if Jeremy has seen your work recently, he may not need
to see for a general audition.

Those people we will be seeing will be notified by June 12th. 

Shows in consideration for 2009:  Einstein's Gift, by Vern Thiessen, Ah,
Wilderness, by Eugene O'Neil, Meet Me in St. Louis, by Martin, Blane and
Wheeler, and Anne, by Paul Ledoux.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
