The Thousand Islands Playhouse, Eastern Ontario's premier arts
organization, is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to lead
our administration team. The Playhouse is located in Gananoque, a town
of 5,000 located directly on the St, Lawrence River twenty minutes east
of Kingston, Ontario. The Playhouse is committed to Canadian artists,
new play development and opportunities for youth and operates two newly
renovated facilities, the 360 seat Springer Theatre and the 130 seat
studio space, the Firehall Theatre.
With an annual budget of over $2,000,000 and an annual average audience
of 45,000+ we also operate a comprehensive production facility and look
to continue our growth in all areas of operation as we approach our 30th
anniversary.
Answering directly to the Executive Director and in close consultation
with the Artistic Director, the General Manager will lead a team of
administrative professionals in order to help achieve the artistic goals
and strategic plans of the organization.
