Colours in the Storm
musical by Jim Betts
1917. Algonquin Park. A most unusual species has taken up residence in
the park. An artist. It's Tom Thomson, one of Canada's most infamous
painters. In a place of such raw beauty and ever-changing landscapes,
Thomson paints thousands of 'sketches', obsessed with perfection. The
locals look upon him with varying degrees of suspicion and amusement and
here his life in the park and his mysterious death are played out
through scenes and songs, with wit and charm.

Director - Sarah Phillips, musical director - John Millard. Males and
females to play 40+, Equity and non-Equity may apply. (This show is
cross-cast with Ship of Fire - see related listing.)

18. We will only be able to contact those who we'd like to invite to
audition.

Prince Edward County is a rural area between Belleville and Kingston, 2
1/2 hrs east of Toronto. A car is not required but is very beneficial.

Auditions will be held in Toronto Friday, Feb 20 5 - 9pm, and Sat, Feb
21 10 - 2pm

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
