2008 - 2013 NCCEA & NACMDA RATIFIED

The recently negotiated National Capital Commission Events Agreement (NCCEA) and the National Arts Centre Music Department Agreement (NACMDA) were ratified by the Equity membership in a ballot count held last week.
 
Members voted overwhelmingly in support of the proposed changes. The return rate on the NCCEA ballots mailed was 38.4%. The return rate on the NACMDA ballots mailed was 16.6%.
 
All of the negotiated changes to the National Capital Commission Events Agreement and the National Arts Centre Music Department Agreement are retroactive to September 1, 2008, and both Agreements extend to August 31, 2013.
 
Copies of the National Capital Commission Events Agreement and the National Arts Centre Music Department Agreement will be available on EQUITYONLINE shortly and in hard copy as soon as printing allows.
