Additional information:
The Canadian Opera Company production of A Midsummer Night's Dream (by
Benjamin Britten) is holding auditions for the non-singing role of PUCK.
The director of the production is seeking an actor who has experience
with classical text, and he is dedicated to non-traditional casting for
the role. Actors of all ethnicities are strongly invited to apply.

Puck is very young and boyish with a great sense of fun and humour.
Strong upper body strength and simple gymnastics are needed. (yogic
handstands, simple cartwheels etc.) Be prepared to demonstrate other
gymnastic talents if you have them. Dance training is not required - but
Puck does need to be fleet of foot and to have enormous vocal and
physical energy.
