Rosebud School of the Arts seeks an Interim Head of Acting Duration of
Contract: 15 Aug. 2009 - 30 May 2010 & 5 Aug. 2010 - 30 May 2011

Rosebud School of the Arts has a 25 year history as a centre for theatre
training located in the hamlet of Rosebud, Alberta. The hamlet is also
home to Rosebud Theatre, Alberta's largest rural professional theatre,
serving 40,000 patrons per year.

DUTIES
Provide leadership for the Acting Programme by giving oversight to all
acting courses, supervising acting coaches, and ensuring quality of
acting training Provide vision and administrative support for two studio
stage shows Participate in education team meetings to help with
programme delivery in an efficient manner Audition potential students
Teach or direct a combination of 6.5 credits over two terms

QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate degree preferred
Professional background and teaching experience are assets
An understanding and appreciation of the mission and vision of Rosebud
School of the Arts

REMUNERATION
Contract position of $1800 - $2800/month plus travel, depending on
qualifications and experience
