Additional information:
Male and female breakdancers, tappers, hip hop dancers,
modern/contemporary dancers, ballet, and jazz dancers wanted for
performances of "Metro" premiering at Chaos Montreal - a new festival
running parallel to Just For Laughs in Montreal July 10-16, 2009.

Multiple disciplines preferred; acro/tricks/partnering skills a plus.
Combination will be taught, be prepared to freestyle/improvise.

Please submit headshot and resume to linette at the-space.ca; clearly
indicate Equity/non-Equity status. If selected to audition, you will be
contacted with a specific time.  Please bring all appropriate dance
shoes.

Metro is a hilarious look at public transportation in the big city. From
breakdancing cops to bored office drones, the subway is where the city
comes together; our joys, loves, fears, and frustrations become shared
collective experiences. Blending hard hitting street styles with
haunting contemporary works, and featuring a cast of zany characters,
Linette Doherty creates dance that is accessible to everyone, as well as
technically innovative, and unique.  Cast must reflect a diverse urban
population - all ethnicities strongly encouraged to submit.

Equity members will be engaged under an Equity form of contract, please
bring Equity card to audition.
