Additional information:
Talk Is Free Theatre (Barrie) and Birdland Theatre (Toronto) are
inviting submissions for the joint production of ASSASSINS - a Pulitzer
Prize winning musical by Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman. Approximate
dates will be December 28, 2009 to February 14, 2010.

All actors must have basic skills in playing a musical instrument.
Although we are happy to hear guitar and piano players, actors that play
other instruments such as accordion, banjo, saw, and any brass or
woodwind will be given higher priority.

Submissions must be received by e-mail to Arkady Spivak, Artistic
Producer at arkady at tift.ca by June 19.

Sara Jane Moore   35-55 Strong comedic actress/singer.

Leon Czolgosz Polish accent 25-35 Strong baritone

Charles Guiteau Strong actor/High Baritone 35-45

 Sam Byck - New York Accent, Strong actor with limited singing 40-50

John Wilkes Booth  - Southern accent, Strong actor/singer 30-40

Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald - Southern Accent, Strong tenor. Must be
able to accompany himself on guitar. Banjo player is a big plus 25-40

Proprietor - Baritone. Will play several roles throughout the play,20-50

Giuseppe Zangara -  Italian accent. Very strong tenor.20's 

Also looking for strong actors/singers/musicians of various and ages. A
Little person (Strong musician) to play a young boy. 30-50.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
