A celebrated and award-winning theatre company based in Calgary,
Alberta, Sage Theatre produces evocative professional theatre in an
intimate environment. We fulfill our mandate with a season of three
mainstage productions and IGNITE!: Calgary's Festival for Emerging
Artists

The General Manager is responsible for the financial, administrative and
operational management of the company, reporting to the Board of
Directors and works in close collaboration with the Artistic Director.
This position requires a commitment of approximately 4-5 days per week
and requires the flexibility to attend meetings and work outside of
regular office hours during busy periods.

 Duties include, but not limited to:
- Financial management and administration.
- Development of operation and production budgets.
- Regular financial reporting.
- Fund development (with the Board and Fund Development Committee).
- Grant writing and liaison with funding agencies.
- Fostering relationships with public and private funders, audiences and
other stakeholders.
- Overseeing communication, marketing and promotions
- Attend monthly Board, Fund Development and other committee meetings.
- Contracting artistic, production and administrative personnel.
- Participating in strategic and operational planning.
