The electronic version of Equity's quarterly newsmagazine Equity Quarterly is now available on EQUITYONLINE at http://www.caea.com.

The Fall 2009 issue of EQ asks if it is time to review Canada's cultural policy. The last arts and culture review was in 1983, so we asked several seasoned arts policy specialists if the time is right for a review, and if so - what should it include. For good measure we also asked journalist, former Governor General and tireless arts supporter Adrienne Clarkson what her ideal cultural policy would look like. 

This issue of EQ also includes a new issue of "Council Link - A periodic report to the Owners of Equity." President Allan Teichman reports on Council's recent bylaw updates. 

Electronic access to the current issue of EQ is restricted to Equity members in good standing. Members must login to the Members Only zone of EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) to access the Fall 2009 issue. Electronic access to "Council Link" is available to any member of Equity online at http://www.caea.com. All Equity members in good standing receive EQ by mail unless a member has specified to receive an online version only. EQ subscribers, provisional and probationary members in good standing and Equity apprentices also receive EQ by mail. Equity members may manage their EQ subscription online by logging on to the Members Only zone of EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com) and amending their "Member Profile" preferences.
