Roles:
Kate Jerome - 40 years old, no-nonsense, runs the household and has to
take care of everybody. Wife to Jack and mother of Eugene and Stanley.

Blanche Morton - 38 years old, widowed 6 years previously.  Forced to
rely on her sister Kate, vulnerable.

Eugene Jerome - almost 15 years old and in the throes of puberty, a bit
of a dreamer and the narrator of this story.

Stanley Jerome - 18.5 years old, Eugene's older brother on the brink of
becoming a man. 

Jacob (Jack) Jerome - Father to the boys and husband of Kate.
Hardworking, aged before his time, slightly dishevelled and beaten down.
A true family man.

Nora Morton- 16.5 years old, pretty, enthusiastic, dancer. Wants to gain
her independence. 

Laurie Morton- 13, smart, sickly, a bit of a pest, likes to stir the
pot.

Perusal scripts are available for in house reading by appointment only,
call Robin: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm at 604-247-4986.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
