Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
We are seeking talented actors who have professional training and/or
equivalent professional experience, regardless of ethnicity.

Additional information:
THE EXQUISITE HOUR, written by Stewart Lemoine, directed by Julie
McIsaac, as part of the 2010 Vancouver International Fringe Festival.
Rehearsals beginning in August 2010, schedule to be determined.
Production dates September 8 - 19, 2010.
 
Perusal scripts are currently available for reading at Carousel Theatre
(1411 Cartwright Street, Granville Island) Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.

The script features two performers (one male, one female) and we are
looking to cast both roles:

ZACHARY: A seemingly well-adjusted bachelor.  Age range: 25-45.
HELEN: A quirky encyclopaedia saleswoman with a secret.  Age range: 22 -
35.

Audition Requirements: Sides from the script will be provided to those
selected for an audition.

Equity members participating in this production will be signed to a
Fringe application and all net proceeds from the production will be
divided equally among the participants.

While we thank and appreciate all who submit their materials for
consideration, only those selected for an audition will be contacted.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
