Additional information:
The National Capital Commission is producing both the Canada Day 2011
Parliament Hill Noon and Evening Shows on July 1st.

Candidate must have a minimum 5 years experience stage managing large
scale live music/variety shows and events for broadcast, and be able to
work in a bilingual setting - bilingualism is an asset.  In between the
early June rehearsal and arrival in Ottawa for the production
soundcheck/rehearsal, the stage manager will work closely with the
Artistic Director, the Production Team and the NCC to continue to fine
tune all schedules/rundowns for the two live shows and ensure all
documents and information is communicated to all departments (i.e all
technical departments, broadcast, crew, producer, designers) by
mid-June.       

The SM must be available for the following key dates:
June 4-6: Opening Act / House Company rehearsal (Montreal)
June 24: Arrival in Ottawa
June 28-30:  Production soundcheck and rehearsals
July 1: Show date (noon & evening)

The SM will also be required to attend 1-2 production meetings in Ottawa
in June.

NOTE:  This production is under the National Capital Commission Event
Agreement.

Equity members hired will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
