Additional information:
Reporting to the Artistic & Executive Director, the successful candidate
will be responsible for the financial and administrative operations at
the Gateway Theatre. This is a contract position from March 2011 - April
2012 with a fee for service per month commensurate with experience.

Duties
Operations & Human Resources
* Ensure that day-to-day administrative details are handled efficiently
and in a timely manner
* Develop budgets and manage resources
* Human resource responsibilities
Leadership & Planning
* Business plan and risk management
Board of Directors Communication

Qualifications:
* Budget preparation and management - minimum 5 years experience with a
professional performing arts organization (theatre an asset)
* Grant writing experience (CC and BCAC minimum) for professional
performing arts
* Knowledge of the CTA
* Contract management skills
* Detail oriented
* Human resource management and conflict resolution training or
experience
* Effective communication skills both verbal and written
* Highly organized and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Proven initiative and problem-solving ability
