Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: The Tie-break ESPN called it "The most riveting episode in the sport's history."

The Tie-break is a performative re-enactment of the legendary fourth set tie-break from the 1980 Wimbledon Finals between Björn Borg and John McEnroe.  The live performance will take place at Nuit Blanche October 1st.

Looking for 2 actors with theatrical or comedic improv background. Knowledge in tennis score keeping or willing to learn

1. Umpire:  Age 30 - 50 Male or Female.  British accent.  Proper. Authoritative. Commanding voice.

2. Announcer: Age 30 - 50 Male.  British accent. "Sportscaster look"

Additional information: Please note the chosen candidates will be expected to attend eight rehearsals with the artists up until the performance date, which is October 1st.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
