The Chemainus Theatre Festival is accepting applications for the position of Apprentice Stage Manager for their upcoming production of "Amadeus". 

Contract dates: August 15 - October 22, 2011

Application deadline: August 4, 2011

Primary position components:
- Assistant Stage Manager working with Equity Stage Managers.
- Full-time, term employment with hourly wage.
- Eligibility for Equity credits.

Qualifications: 
-Intention to become a professional CAEA Stage Manager. -Post-secondary education in theatre arts-related study. 
-Strong organizational and people skills.
-A good knowledge of stagecraft, technical theatre, and rehearsal procedures. 
-Experience and resourcefulness in handling emergencies. -Tireless enthusiasm, with an attitude toward training.
