The Executive Director is responsible for directing and managing the
overall operation of the organization in achieving its mission: To
enrich lives by expressing God's gifts of hope, joy, forgiveness and
love through the arts. Rosebud Centre of the Arts, a Christian
registered charity, serves as an anchor institution operating Rosebud
School of the Arts, Rosebud Theatre and Rosebud Mercantile (dining and
conventions).

The role requires articulating vision and providing leadership through
operational planning, managing staff and finances, representing RCA to
the public, establishing key partnerships with diverse stakeholders,
working with and providing support to the Board of Governors and related
committees, and leadership to the Directors Committee and Management
Team.

Ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of five years' experience in a senior management position
preferably in the arts or arts education

A passion for the values and life style of rural Alberta

An understanding of and passion for social entrepreneurship

Experience in working with a volunteer Board of Governors

Proven ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of
stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to support an organization to achieve its long-term
vision

Familiarity with current marketing and business trends
