OBEAH OPERA (written by Nicole Brooks, MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION) A piece
that musically dabbles in the woes of womanhood and the mystical -
hundreds of women are accused of being witches and bringing 'Obeah' to a
good Christian town. Meet five women in a holding room, waiting and
sharing in their fate for what could be their last ...

Rehearsals begin January 2012
Production Opening February 17, 2012
Production Closing March 4, 2012
(some workshop dates during November-December 2011)

PERFORMERS     
*       Roles: Tituba (lead) and CHORUS
*       Female performers needed who are strong singers.
*       No theatre experience necessary, but an asset.
*       Prepare one upbeat song + one slow ballad.

AUDITIONS
Time & Date: 5 - 9 pm, Monday, October 17th, 2011.
Studio 251 (2nd floor) in Artscape Wychwood Barns, 601 Christie St.
