Additional information:
Reporting to the Operations & Client Services Manager, the RENTALS & EVENTS COORDINATOR will coordinate the rental of Gateway facilities to external organizations, as well as coordinate the operation of Gateway Theatre special events (Opening Night receptions, Volunteer appreciation, Sponsor events, etc.).

To be a successful candidate you must have:
* Exceptional communication and organizational skills
* Production, event planning, and scheduling experience
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* A valid "Serving It Right" certificate

Bonus points awarded for:
* Ability to communicate in Cantonese and Mandarin
* Experience with Theatre Manager software

DUTIES:
* Coordinate the smooth operation of rental events and Gateway Theatre special events.
* Collaborate with Production department to schedule technical staff and equipment for all rental and special events.  Also, work with Gateway staff to schedule Box Office, Front of House, Bar, Volunteer, and Building Services resources for these events.
* Meet with rental clients to provide information on rental rates and Gateway resources.  Draft booking letters, rental contracts, and invoices.
* Oversee booking of Gateway facilities for all events; including rental and special events, as well as all other Production, Artistic, Education, and Administration usage.
