CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - Monologues and Short Scenes from Emerging Playwrights

SOLO COLLECTIVE THEATRE, Vancouver's award winning playwright-focused new play company invites you to enter its ninth-annual EMERGING PLAYWRIGHTS' COMPETITION. 

All entries are judged anonymously and every competition entrant will receive written feedback from two of the judges. Three winning submissions will be selected from contest entries and will be presented at SOLO FLIGHTS, the annual Emerging Writers' Showcase in April of 2013. 

The 2013 competition guest judges are Carmen Aguirre (Something Fierce, Trigger, Blue Box) and Dave Deveau (My Funny Valentine, Nelly Boy, Tiny Replicas), along with Solo Collective Theatre's co-Artistic Directors: Rachel Peake (Director/Dramaturge) and Aaron Bushkowsky (Play With Monsters, After Jerusalem, My Chernobyl). 

SUBMISSIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN JANUARY 25th
