REMINDER - PROPOSED NEGOTIATED CHANGES TO THE 2012-2015 CTA AVAILABLE
ONLINE
-------------------------------------------------
An information document identifying the proposed changes to the
2012-2015 Canadian Theatre Agreement (CTA) recently negotiated with the
Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT) is available in the
Members Only zone of EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com). Equity members
must be in good standing to view the document.

The negotiating teams of both Equity and PACT unanimously endorse
acceptance of these terms.

PLEASE NOTE: Information regarding the allowable Engagement Level Two
percentages in the cast of a production have now been clarified. Please
see pages 3 and 4 of the "Proposed changes to the 2012 - 2015 CTA
information package" for the specified engagement level percentages.

Equity negotiated weekly fee increases of 1.5% in year 1; 1.5% in year
2; and 2% in year 3. A 3% increase in year 1 will apply to any other
monetary term of the CTA where a single minimum fee or rate has been
negotiated for the duration of the Agreement, and a 5.08% increase in
year 1 will apply to all workshop terms.

Monetary amount increases will take effect on June 25, 2012, and the
remainder of the changes will not come into effect until December 31,
2012.

The information document is available at EQUITYONLINE
(http://www.caea.com). Click on the "Proposed changes to the 2012-215
CTA" link.

Equity members in good standing who worked under the CTA (including the
Stratford Shakespeare Festival Addendum) during the 2009-2012 term are
eligible to vote on the proposed changes. Voting on the ratification of
the 2012-2015 CTA will take place in May and June 2012. A ratification
voting kit including a copy of the negotiated changes will arrive by
mail in May 2012. Voting will be conducted by electronic methods (either
over the Internet or by telephone only).
