Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
We are interested in meeting professionals who reflect the cultural
diversity of Ontario. It is part of our mandate to showcase 'the
classics for the modern theatre lover' on the premise that these stories
belong to everyone. 

Additional information:
The 2nd summer season of classics performed on the open-air Greek
Theatre stage at the Guild Inn Gardens off Kingston Road, Scarborough.
Sten Eirik will direct a brand-new contemporary version of Aristophanes'
comedy classic "The Clouds," with original songs by award-winner David
Buchbinder. Rehearsals begin mid-June with performances July 12 - Aug.

We're looking for a knowledgeable, disciplined and committed
lighting/audio technician to serve as Technical Director. The T.D. will
be responsible not only for technical planning prior to opening night
but also for running the show (with S.M. + A.S.M.). This position
includes some duties as Head Carpenter.

The T.D. will be expected to participate in the training of backstage
volunteers. Due to Park regulations, there will be set-up and strike for
each performance, requiring a disciplined routine and excellent team
work. 

Equity members will be engaged under the Guest Artist Agreement.
