2012-2015 EQUITY ELECTION RESULTS ANNOUNCED 
------------------------------- 
On October 31, 2012, the Equity membership elected new Councillor
representatives for the 2012-2015 Council term.

The newly elected Councillors will take office at the first meeting of
Equity's incoming Council, December 2 - 4, 2012 in Toronto.

Councillors will vote on the positions of President and the officers of
the Association at this inaugural meeting. 

Elections were held in those constituencies where the slate of
candidates was sufficient to require it. Nominated candidates in all
other regions were acclaimed. 

With an overall 28.1% voter return rate, the 2012-2015 Council election
results are as follows:
