Additional information:

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for:
- Operations and office management;
- Financial management;
- Developing and writing grant proposals on behalf of TNS to funding agencies such as the Province of Nova Scotia;
- Planning and coordination of core programs
- Public relations and information dissemination

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated knowledge of financial management, event management, administrative skills, and supervisory skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, problem solving, and organizational skills;
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and other office management programs (PC platform) and familiarity with social media;
- Familiarity and experience with the Nova Scotia theatre community and/or not-for-profit arts community.
- Experience preparing budgets and writing grants;
- A minimum of 3 years of professional arts administration/management, or equivalent experience;
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in arts management, fund raising or similar degree/diploma, or equivalent work experience.
