ELYOT CHASE: 30s, slim, good-looking, dapper but with a short temper, especially when it comes to his ex-wife Amanda.

VICTOR PRYNNE: Amanda's husband, 30s-40s, attractive, serious businessman

SIBYL CHASE: Elyot's wife, early 20s, attractive, traditional, prim and proper, passive

LOUISE: French-speaking maid

Casting the role of KEN. 20's, an aspiring young artist currently working as the assistant to famous abstract painter Mark Rothko.

If an actor has not auditioned for TNB in the past and would like to be seen for a general audition, please specify. For general auditions, actors must prepare two contrasting monologues or a song and monologue of their choice.

ETIENNE CHIASSON: mid-20s, rebellious, smart, uninterested in carrying on the family fishing legacy despite immense pressure from his uncle and grandfather

LEO CHIASSON: middle-aged, Etienne's uncle, bitter second-born son in a family where first-born lineage is everything. Not overly intelligent, but has been successfully running the family business

ANTHIME CHIASSON: 60s, Etienne's grandfather, ageing patriarch of the family who is steeped in tradition and very set in his ways, has been mourning his wife's death for over two years.

1 man, 1 Woman to play multiple roles in TYA productions "Wally Finds His Inner Bear" and "God's Middle Name". The Young Company tours, sets up, performs, strikes and travels to another location. Performing 2-3 times a day for as many as 30,000 children over the tour. Ideal for a recent Theatre School Graduate.

Roles available:

Man: Able to play a variety of characters including a young boy (Wally Finds his Inner Bear). Experience with puppets an asset. This actor will also play NIC, an autistic boy who we watch grow up over a ten-year period. (God's Middle Name)

Woman: Able to play a variety of Characters. Experience with puppets an asset. This Actor will play JENNIFER in God's Middle Name.  (JENNIFER is NIC's mother, and the story is told from her perspective)
