2014 Neil Munro Intern Directors Project at the Shaw Festival

Application deadline: June 28, 2013

Each season the Shaw Festival hires two Intern Directors.  They look for promising professional directors at a point in their career where an extended residency with the Shaw Festival will be of benefit to their development.  Applicants should have a good amount of professional experience but will not have had an opportunity to work on the scale of production characteristic of the Shaw Festival.  The contract starts February/March and generally runs through September.  The positions are salaried at an apprentice level around $675 per week.

Applications for the Intern Directors positions are made through Theatre Ontario. There is no application form - just submit a resume with a covering letter why you would like to be an intern director at the Shaw and how it relates to your development as a director.
