Additional information:
"A Soldier's Tale" is a full-length 2 act dance theatre work for 12 performers. Directed and choreographed by Michael Greyeyes and written by Tara Beagan, this work examines the aftermath of war on two generations of soldiers. This production is primarily a dance work, so the company is looking for a stage manager with a background in concert dance, as well as traditional text-driven theatre. The production opens on Feb. 20 at the Fleck Dance Theatre, with a short run till Feb. 22nd.

The production has had a series of workshops, including a 3 week developmental workshop in the summer of 2013. The amount of work accomplished then has allowed us to reduce our final production rehearsals to two weeks, but requires that the stage manger begin work a week in advance of these rehearsals to familiarize themselves with the working script and choreography. The rehearsal period begins with a 'bau probe' in the venue (Fleck Dance Theatre @ Harbourfront Centre) for two days, to allow the designers access to the space for technical rehearsal.

Please submit CV/ resumé, detailing experience in the dance milieu. Interviews will be scheduled once all applications have been received.

Equity members hired will be engaged under an Equity form of contract.
