2013-2016 NBA WITH THE NATIONAL BALLET OF CANADA NOW UP FOR RATIFICATION

Equity has successfully reached a tentative deal with the National
Ballet of Canada for the 2013-2016 the Canadian Ballet Agreement  with
the NBC. The proposed changes are now subject to ratification by the
affected Equity membership. 

Ratification packages, including a ratification ballot and a copy of the
proposed fee increases and other changes to the 2013-2016 Canadian
Ballet Agreement  with the NBC, together with a explanatory letter, have
now been sent out to Equity members in good standing who are currently
working under the agreement.

Any eligible voter who does not receive a ballot by Wednesday, June 26,
2013 is encouraged to contact Equity's National Office for assistance.

This ratification will be conducted by mail only. Ballots should be
posted no later than Tuesday, July 2, 2013 to ensure timely delivery.
Only those ballots received in Equity's National Office prior to 5:00
p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2013 will be counted. 

The results of the ratification will be announced on e-drive and on
Equity's website at http://www.caea.com on Tuesday, July 16, 2013.
Pending a successful ratification, the new Agreement will be renewed
until July 1, 2016.
