NEW "COUNCIL CONNECTION" BLOG POST - DID YOU KNOW? - FEE SECURITY
---------------------------------------------------

Equity President Allan Teichman has added a posting to his "Council
Connection" blog.

Did you know... Council requires Equity staff to ensure secured payment
of a portion of most contracts. The principal exceptions to this rule
are fringe and independent/small-scale productions. Why hold security?

About the blog:

The "Council Connection" blog is available at EQUITYONLINE
(http://www.caea.com) or at http://councilconnection.blogspot.com. It
shares the doings of Council with the Equity membership and most topics
will reflect issues currently or recently under review by Equity's
national Council. The blog also supports several subscription options,
including RSS, for those members who wish to receive it automatically.

Members are encouraged to regularly check EQUITYONLINE for the link to
"Council Connection" and to keep up to date with recent events and
information releases.
