Fool for Love by Sam Shepard centers around the confrontation of May and
Eddie who threatens to bring May back to a life that she has run away
from. 

Additional information: Actors are requested to send a photo and resume
including contact information. Auditions will be by appointment only.
Actors will be contacted by the engager with an appointment time and
audition sides from the play.

Characters:       
Eddie (late-30s) is a cowboy and a rodeo stuntman.  Eddie is the older
half-brother to May with whom he has had an on and off relationship for
15 years. He is unpredictable and controlling.  When he walks, he limps
slightly and gives the impression he's rarely off a horse. 

Martin (mid-30s) is a simple, kind man who is interested in May and an
unknowing competitor to Eddie.  He works maintenance around the town.

Old Man (late 50s+) is a father to both Eddie and May.  He is ever
present in the piece and watches the action take place.  He is a
character that exists in the minds of May and Eddie.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
