Working alongside members of ARC, this five-day intensive develops
technique for building character beyond the bounds of the script.
Through a unique European approach of script analysis, improvisation,
and personal experience, internationally acclaimed Serbian director
Aleksander Lukac focuses on increasing a performer's intensity and
living your character rather than "acting".

Jo Leslie leads this workshop that will explore her dynamic approach to
embodying character - Ideal for actors and improvisers wanting to
reconnect with movement work, or be introduced to it. 

With a grounded, alert, and aware body, participants will discover and
articulate impulse - using changes in posture, centre, and rhythm to
create characters from the inside out.

Cost: $40.00 + HST (Equity Members: $32.00 + HST)
Location: Tapestry Opera (Distillery) 7:30pm - 10:30 pm.

Additional information:
Participants will be instructed in Theatre Gargantua's distinctive
method of creating imagistic, physical, music theatre.  Actors will be
given tools to develop original movement and vocal compositions, and
will learn how to integrate these creations with text.

Only 8 participants per workshop.  Please send Headshot and CV to
